We went for a walk this morning at one of our favorite places around Los Angeles, Point Dume in Malibu. It was a little cool, but there were people at the beach. Point Dume, a dramatic promontory jutting into the Pacific on the western edge of Malibu, is one of Southern California’s most breathtaking coastal spots. On clear days, you can see Catalina Island in the distance and spot migrating whales offshore.

  1. What a relaxing shot!

How is your weather there? We are preparing for another 6″ of snow through Friday afternoon.

Take care and enjoy the visit with your daughters.

    1. The temps were in the upper 50’s when the shot was taken yesterday and it got just a little warmer in the afternoon. It’s supposed to be cooler tonight and there will almost definitely be rain. Not the greatest weather for Southern California, but it’s a lot better than what Chicago is having right now.

6″ is a lot of snow to add to what’s already dropped this year. Oh well…, Punxsutawney Phil predicted we’re heading towards an early spring, so let’s hope he’s right!
