my dream trip

I’ve always been fascinated by my European roots and with the help of Ancestry.com, I’ve been able to identify the areas in Germany and Slovakia where my forebears emigrated from in the 19th century. I wasn’t able to visit the specific cities on this trip, but just being in the same countries was very exciting.

The journey lasted for 17 days and covered 6 countries and 12 cities. It included a 7-day Danube River Cruise. This was my second trip to Europe, the first time I went to Paris and Amsterdam.
